To be Sagacious is to anticipate what a place will need before it takes form.

Sagacious Building Contracting L.L.C SP was established to bring a more forward-looking and professionally managed approach to construction, one that considers not only how a building will be delivered, but how it will perform, adapt and remain valuable over time.

We are a UAE based building contractor working across residential, commercial and mixed use construction projects. Depending on the project and appointed consultant structure, we support the complete delivery journey through early project review, design coordination, authority interfaces, construction, project controls, testing, handover and close-out.

SBC emerged from a clear observation: while technology and modern management systems are transforming how organisations operate, construction still offers considerable room for a more responsive, transparent and intelligently managed approach.

Drawing on decades of experience in construction operations, project delivery, process improvement and digital systems, the founders set out to bring that discipline into the built environment without losing the human judgement and personal responsibility essential to building well.

Sajjad Ahmed is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Sagacious Group, providing strategic leadership across the Group’s construction, architecture, technology and business consultancy operations in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

With more than two decades of executive leadership and multidisciplinary project experience, he has led the planning, management and delivery of assignments spanning residential developments, mixed-use schemes, commercial buildings, shopping malls, hospitality developments, housing communities, water infrastructure and specialised healthcare facilities.

Selected experience shown on this page was gained through previous executive, consulting and project-management appointments. It is presented as leadership experience underpinning SBC and is not represented as work completed under the SBC legal entity.

High-rise residential development

Executive management exposure to Pace Tower in Lahore: a 23-storey development with four basements, on approximately 7.75 kanals, with covered area of approximately 502,313 sq. ft.

Large mixed-use development

Management exposure to Pace Barka near Lahore Airport: a major mixed-use scheme on approximately 41 kanals, combining a Hyatt Regency hotel, retail and apartments, with 13 storeys and five basements.

Residential community

Leadership involvement in Pace Woodland, comprising approximately 160 villas and three apartment buildings with around 230 apartments, together with associated infrastructure.

Retail developments

Operations leadership across multiple shopping-mall projects including Pace MM Alam Road, Pace Model Town, Pace Gujranwala and Pace Gujrat.

Water infrastructure programme

Overall leadership of a programme involving the design, installation and commissioning of 305 reverse-osmosis plants across Sindh and Balochistan, including civil works, logistics, government coordination and international supplier engagement.

Airport-related works

Established and managed a Saudi contracting operation that secured and executed a SAR 1.7 million package involving public-address and fire-alarm installation and commissioning at King Abdulaziz International Airport, supported by approximately 65 personnel.

Healthcare engineering programme

Project-management and consulting leadership for a multi-city medical-waste incinerator programme, including site selection, government and environmental approvals, design coordination, imported-equipment logistics, stakeholder management, installation and commissioning. Associated civil construction was executed through Sagacious Construction.

Project mobilisation and organisational design

Established project infrastructure, staffing and planning functions for a major residential-development organisation, including mobilisation planning and cost optimisation.

Corporate transformation

Advised construction and other organisations on structure, executive recruitment, performance improvement, process redesign, management systems and technology-enabled control.
